I have joined with CSW and other organisations and individuals in writing to United Nations officials and the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights urging them for urgent assistance for Eritrean refugees in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, where a violent conflict has been taking place since 4 November. On Wednesday I have a question in Parliament asking what access has been granted to the region to establish the truth of what has happened.
