Prime Minister Meets Cross Party Group Of Parliamentarians Sanctioned By The Chinese Communist Party For Highlighting Uyghur Genocide And Attacks On Hong Kong Freedoms
Good to have the wholehearted support of the PM today.
He sees these CCP attempts to intimidate and silence parliamentarians as an attack on free speech.
Good to that from across the political divide we are standing together in defence of fundamental values.
We must stay focused, not on the sanctioned , but on the victims of Genocide in Xinjiang, insisting that those responsible for atrocity crimes against the Uyghurs and the attacks on the freedoms of Hongkongers are brought to justice.
Lord David Alton

For 18 years David Alton was a Member of the House of Commons and today he is an Independent Crossbench Life Peer in the UK House of Lords.
