Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the admirable Professor Mariz Tadros, Director of CREID (, Coalition for Religious Equality and Inclusive Development) and the Institute of Development Studies launches their new collection of papers on religious inequalities and gender as part of CREID’s new Intersections Series. The authors of the papers in this collection also held an important event today: In our own words: violence and discrimination against women of religious minority backgrounds in Pakistan , which drew together international experts, including the UN Special Rapporteur for Cultural Rights, Karima Bennoune.
