Following the Foreign Secretary’s naming of Uyghur Genocide in Xinjiang, the UK Government are considering diplomatic boycott of the Winter Olympics but “no decisions have yet been made about Government attendance at the Beijing Olympics in 2022.”

To ask Her Majesty’s Government, further to the reported remarks by the Foreign Secretary relating to genocide in Xinjiang, what plans they have, if any, for boycotting the 2022 Winter Olympics in China. (HL4056)
