May 12, 2021 | News

On Friday, May 14th, CSW will host a global event to mark the 18th birthday of Christian schoolgirl Leah Sharibu, the Nigerian schoolgirl abducted by terrorists in 2018, and who refused to renounce her faith in exchange for her freedom.

Contributors to the online event include Leah’s mother, Rebecca Sharibu.

Fiona Bruce MP and I will describe the circumstances of Leah’s abduction and what can be done to ensure that she and others who have been targeted by Jihadists are not forgotten.

Nigerian Gospel singer Panam Percy Paul has written a song especially for Leah, featuring Sinach, Muyiwa, Lou Fellingham, Noel Robinson, Steph MacLeod and a host of other artists, which will be released exclusively at the event. Eight girls from Leah’s school also feature in the choir.
