Intersociety say that in the months from January to April 2021 no fewer than 1,470 Christians were killed – the highest number recorded since 2014. It is believed that in 2020 between 2,401 and 3,530 Christians were hacked to death by jihadists in Nigeria . The country has been dubbed the ‘most dangerous place to be a Christian’.
